ASQ Region 6 Members:

We are asking section members to respond to the 2008 Loyalty and Customer Satisfaction Survey. This survey was sent to members via an electronic link on Jan 30, 2008. This survey is used for several purposes including (1) providing feedback to the section leaders about what their members want or need from their local entity and (2) providing data for input into the SMP Excellence awards which recognizes the section on performance based on customer / member input.

Members that have not yet responded will receive a reminder from Market Probe, our service provider on Mon Feb 18. Please respond to this survey before the Feb 29, 2008 deadline. Your participation is needed in order to improve the quality of the data and our response rate.

Thanks for your support on this effort.

Make a difference!

Calling all Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Members!

What do quality geeks have to offer the Spokane – Coeur d ’ Alene community? We can share our knowledge and expertise with non profit organizations that serve our citizens. The old adage goes “ Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, and feed him for life. ” While giving money and other resources to a charity is a fantastic thing, if we can teach one how to operate efficiently to maximize their resources, we will increase their impact on the community.

The Union Gospel Mission would love our help. If you have Six Sigma training as a Green belt, Black belt , or any Lean experience and you ’ d like to participate, please contact Amy Walker.

This effort will only occur if we have enough volunteers. We will need a Black Belt, and a Green Belt or two. Lean Manufacturing or Lean Sigma experience is helpful. This is a fantastic way to earn experience towards ASQ certification, and it helps our community.

If this effort is successful, we plan to continue with similar projects in the future.

We'd like to know........

We may have the opportunity to invite a guest speaker from one of the ASQ divisions. But there are so many choices !!

We've narrowed it down to a few, and we'd like your help with the final decision.

Please vote for the speaker that interests you most.
